Coach Hanshaw designed a 3 workout per week program for me, and then she came to my house, demonstrated all the exercises for me, and made sure my form was correct. I've been following the program for about 2 months now. Coach Hanshaw regularly checks in with me to answer questions and follow my progress. “I loved this workout program it was really easy to follow, and easy to communicate any questions/problems through the comments on the google document. I already see such a change after just a short amount of time, a progressive overload program is definitely the way to go. Jess was extremely helpful/great to work with she explained to me what progressive overload means, along with a “newbie” packet because I’m new to weight training. It had a lot of information on how to start working out along with breathing tips. I have had a jumpers knee in the past and it started to flare up while I was working out and Jess really helped me know how to take it easy and strengthen my knee so I could still workout but avoid pain and injuring it further. She helped me know when to start increasing weight and walked me through each workout and helped with my form as well. Because of this program I feel so much more confident in the gym, 10/10 would recommend!”

“Jessica is absolutely amazing!!!! She has made the gym a comfortable space for me!! I work in the medical field and I am always worried about being pushed into doing exercises that could leave me injured and affect my ability to work, which has been my experience up until now. She starts off by discussing your prior experiences in the gym and your goals, healthy expectations for results, and creates a personalized program. If there is an exercise that is uncomfortable or you are unable to perform, there is no judgement, and she deftly transitions to other exercises that target the same muscles. I went from being uncomfortable and anxious in a gym setting to excitedly going to my sessions and setting new personal bests each time, and it is all due to Jessica's knowledge of kinesiology and honest encouragement!!”
